Instant thoughts

When we got given the brief only a couple of hours ago and the second competition on 'Exposed' (based on surveillance and CCTV) was read out, the photographer Alison Jackson was the first thing that popped into my mind. She photographs look-alike celebrities in somewhat 'personal' situations, and the results are comical yet sometimes controversial too. I think her photos are great because they are so convincing due to the attention to detail in each one, and the actors really do look like the stars!! The resemblances are uncanny! I like them because the scenes are realistic and an element of surveillance has been used with the out of focus foregrounds as if the photographer was a paparazzi, hidden and undercover.

Just set up my blog, only took about 5 minutes to do which was good.... Very excited about this brief and it has inspired me alot, there's alot of stuff that can be researched, which I will get onto now!
